SportzBudz

SportzBudz is a program that connects refugee children and their families with the children and families of others who live outside the camps. So, for example, a child living in the Kakuma Camp in Kenya gets to meet and bond with a child living in Los Angeles based on their love of sports. It is today’s version of Pen Pals. We plan to scale this program as the demand is enormous and we began by creating a video series called “Hero + Hiro ,” the story of two children who became our first SportzBudz.
